With the introduction of Darwin and the Apple Public Source License,   
Apple became the first major OS company to make Open Source development a key part of its ongoing strategy. By releasing the code to a complete OS, which makes up the foundation layers for Mac OS X Server and Mac OS X, Apple presents dramatic new opportunities. We'll discuss what makes up the DARWIN project and how developers can take advantage of the Darwin sources. We'll also discuss the future plans for Open Source at Apple.
